With the presence of an international expert and evaluator:
Law students present their presentations
The Law program at the International University continues to strengthen its position and develop its capabilities, aligning it with the application of established law programs around the world, and confirming its success through the continuous incorporation of new educational materials and methods, and the use of local and international legal expertise.
On Monday, June 24, 2024, the first-year students in the Public International Law course successfully presented their presentations, under the supervision of the course expert, legal expert Shady El-Garbi, who is visiting the university from London to support the students and attend their presentations in person to provide feedback and evaluate their work.
This year, the International Law course was taught remotely, and cooperation was made with Professor Shady El-Garbi to design the curriculum similarly to what is taught at universities in the United Kingdom, where recent topics were integrated into the course materials, including international environmental law, international humanitarian law, and international conventions related to refugees. The students were also trained to analyze judicial rulings on well-known international disputes.
