“Faculty of Human and Social Sciences” Meets with Parents

As part of its commitment to strengthening partnerships with stakeholders, the Ali Khalifa Al-Zaidi Hall hosted on the morning of Saturday, October 18, 2025, the first meeting between the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at the Libyan International University and the parents of students for the Fall 2025 academic semester. The meeting took place in an atmosphere of collaboration and dedication to enhancing students’ academic and professional performance.

The session opened with welcoming remarks by Mr. Ahmed Al-Fitouri, Vice Dean of the Faculty, who greeted the attendees and emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous communication between the Faculty and parents to support the educational process.

Program directors then delivered introductory presentations highlighting the key features of their academic programs and the ongoing development mechanisms aligned with standards of quality and excellence.

Within the strategic framework of the meeting, Mr. Mohamed Dhiab presented an overview of the Faculty’s local and international agreements, which aim to strengthen opportunities for academic and research collaboration.

Following that, Dr. Omar Layas delivered a detailed presentation on social responsibility as one of the fundamental pillars of sustainable development, shedding light on the Faculty’s initiatives and contributions in this field.

The meeting concluded with contributions from the coordinators of study, examinations, and registration, who outlined the main mechanisms designed to raise parents’ awareness of the importance of academic follow-up and their role in ensuring their children’s success at the university.

At the end of the gathering, outstanding students from each semester were honored in recognition of their academic excellence.
