A Practical Partnership Between the Finance and Banking Program and the Banking Sector

In order to strengthen cooperation between academic institutions and the banking sector, and in direct alignment with labor market requirements, the Finance and Banking Program signed a cooperation agreement with Al-Saraya Bank for Trade and Investment. The agreement aims to provide field training for program students, enable them to gain exposure to the banking work environment, and familiarize them with the key elements of professional success.

This agreement seeks to offer students the opportunity to apply their theoretical studies in real-world settings and to refine their practical skills across various departments of the bank, thereby enhancing their readiness to enter the labor market with competence and confidence.

This partnership comes within the framework of strengthening relations with the banking sector as one of the program’s key stakeholders. Through this agreement, the program seeks to:

  1. Provide high-quality field training opportunities for students of the Finance and Banking Program.
  2. Develop students’ practical and professional skills in line with labor market needs.
  3. Support integration between the academic and practical aspects in the fields of finance and banking.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Fitouri, Director of the Finance and Banking Program, affirmed the program’s ongoing commitment to developing the educational process and building effective strategic partnerships that contribute to preparing qualified banking professionals capable of keeping pace with developments in the financial and banking sector.
