Islamic Finance Bank Partnership: Shaping the Bankers of the Future

In line with the recommendations of the International Scientific Conference organized by the Libyan International University on December 13–14, which focused on the gap between educational outcomes and the evolving needs of the labor market,

a new cooperation agreement was signed yesterday morning (Wednesday) at the Academic Hall between the Finance and Banking Program and the Islamic Finance Bank.

This agreement reflects the program’s commitment to delivering modern financial education that aligns with the demands of the banking sector. It aims to strengthen practical learning through field training and academic collaboration, enabling students to engage directly with the professional banking environment.

The partnership seeks to provide students with hands-on experience across various bank departments, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings and develop essential professional skills that meet the needs of the financial and banking industry.

This agreement also reflects the commitment of the Program Director, Dr. Ahmed Al-Fitouri, to preparing qualified banking professionals who possess both strong academic knowledge and practical competencies, capable of keeping pace with rapid developments in the financial and banking sectors. It ultimately enhances students’ readiness to effectively enter the job market and contribute to the development of Libya’s banking sector.

This partnership will contribute to:
• Providing high-quality field training opportunities for students
• Developing students’ practical and professional skills
• Strengthening the integration between academic and practical aspects in finance and banking
• Opening new opportunities for collaboration in seminars, workshops, and joint scientific activities

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Islamic Finance Bank for this constructive partnership and its support in advancing financial education.

🎯 Together, we shape the bankers of the future.
