Getting closer to their future fields law Students visit the Court and Prosecution of South Benghazi

On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, the first batch of the Law Program students, accompanied by program members Dr. Ashraf al-gadafi and Mr. Ahmed Bosnine, embarked on a field visit to the Prosecution and Court of South Benghazi to learn about the functioning of the judicial authority. They were welcomed by Dr. Abaid Bufaraj, the head of the South Benghazi Primary Prosecution, who generously provided them with information about the judicial authority and its workings, particularly regarding the role of the Public Prosecution.

The students greatly benefited from this valuable contribution by a prominent judicial figure, which enriched their knowledge in this field. The visit also included the students’ passage and familiarization with the digital transformation program of the Public Prosecution, its functioning, and the remarkable efforts exerted by the Office of the Attorney General to support this judicial endeavor.

Furthermore, the students had the honor of meeting the distinguished counselor, Ms. Sabah Qunaybir, the head of the South Benghazi Court, who provided encouragement and motivation for the students to continue their academic efforts in advancing the educational level of the Law Program.

The International University and the Law Program extend their thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to all the faculty members and staff who contributed to the success of this field visit. They also express their due thanks and appreciation to Dr. Abaid Bufaraj, the head of the South Benghazi Prosecution, and Ms. Sabah Qunaybir, the honorable head of the South Benghazi Court, for their warm reception, generous hospitality, and the abundance of information provided to our students, who represent the bright future of Libya
