The Law Program Team Meets with Stakeholders
Recognizing the importance of direct communication with stakeholders, who are essential partners in the educational process in all its aspects, the team of the Law Program at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences convened this important meeting.
This meeting comes at a time when the International University has decided to transition to a university of programs, emulating the prestigious universities, and in response to the urgent need for the development witnessed by all sciences, and their interdependence and interconnectedness, which has necessitated a genuine change to keep pace with this transformation and ensure the graduation of students at the highest level, the development of academic programs, the meeting of labor market needs, and the commitment to providing high-quality education for its students and preparing them to be the leaders of the future in various fields.
Dr. Mohammed Ahmed bin Salim, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Director of the Law Program, invited the stakeholders to this important meeting, which was held in the National Unity Hall on the first Saturday of June 2024. He was accompanied by the Registrar, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Maghribi, and the Director of the Communication Operations Department, Ms. Najiba Astouette. They discussed various issues and topics of common interest with parents and stakeholders.
The meeting also addressed the new teaching methods for the Law Program and the importance of periodic meetings to gauge the satisfaction and acceptance of students and parents with the teaching methods used. The meeting was attended by a number of lawyers and stakeholders, where the possibility of strengthening partnerships between the International University and law firms was discussed.
The attendees, whether parents or stakeholders, expressed their happiness with the clear progress in the students’ performance as a result of their study of the Law Program. They also expressed their joy at the focus on linking the practical aspect with the theoretical during the study period, which contributes to fully preparing the students for integration into the job market upon graduation.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to create partnerships and cooperation with some of the participating law and consulting firms, in addition to agreeing to hold a monthly meeting to follow up on the developments and develop the program.
