International University Strengthens Academic Ties with University of Misurata Through Collaborative Visit

The International University welcomed a delegation from the University of Misurata on an official visit on Sunday, July 28, 2024, to the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences to enhance academic cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two universities.

The University of Misurata delegation included Dr. Mohamed Hassan Obaid, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Mustafa Fawzy Al-Shawish, Vice-Chancellor for Human and Social Sciences.

The event began at 10:00 am with a welcome meeting by the University President, Dr. Mohammed Saad, the Dean of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, Dr. Ali Said, the Director of International Relations and Academic Cooperation, Dr. Miftah etwilp , and the Director of the Law Program, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Ben Salim.

The first day’s agenda included a presentation on the university’s new structure and strategic programs by the University ‘s Quality coordinators, followed by an introduction to the programs of the faculty of Human and Social Sciences by the program heads. The day ended with an introductory tour of the university led by Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Ben Salim.

On the second day, the activities resumed with a presentation on the vision and mission of the Law program by Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Ben Salim, followed by a presentation on comprehensive quality assurance by the quality team. Then, Ms. Elaf Al-Taweel presented on the learning system in the Law program, followed by a presentation on artificial intelligence services in the law program by Mr. Khaled Al-Manfi.

The visit concluded with presentations on the vision and mission of the English and Global Communications program by Dr. Khadija Abu Aroush, as well as a presentation on the new courses in the program by the program team. The events were concluded with closing remarks by Dr. Ali Said, Dr. Miftah etwilp , and Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Ben Salim.

The International University expresses its deep appreciation to the University of Misurata delegation for this fruitful visit and looks forward to enhancing academic cooperation and knowledge exchange between the two universities to achieve more joint successes in the future.
