The activities of the orientation week for the law program continue with a remarkable participation from the program director, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Bin Saleem. As part of the orientation week for the law program within the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, the second day of the law program was held.
During the event, Ms. Elaf Al-Etwilp (Educational Supervisor and Student Affairs Officer) delivered an educational lecture on the interactive learning system, which relies on problem-based learning (PBL) methods and mock trials, in addition to field visits and legal activities. She highlighted the advantages of studying in the program, including the use of both English and Arabic in teaching materials, along with the integration of modern electronic tools such as the Moodle platform to enhance the learning experience.
As part of the event, a workshop on the PBL system was organized, showcasing a legal scenario that included educational objectives, providing new students with opportunities for practical training and interaction.
Additionally, Ms. Amani Al-Shaykhe, Director of the Study and Examination Office, offered a comprehensive overview to students regarding the study and examination guide, explaining their rights related to attendance and absence, acceptable excuses, and the conditions for passing, failing, and suspending studies.
At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Mohamed Bin Saleem distributed certificates to outstanding students from previous classes, adding a celebratory atmosphere to the occasion and providing a motivational boost to the new students.
