Engaging Workshop to Showcase Faculty Programs in Human and Social Sciences

On the afternoon of Saturday, January 11, 2025, the Ali Khalifa Al-Zaidi Scout Hall witnessed a unique event hosted by the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences. The event, supervised by the Student Activities Unit, aimed to promote the academic programs offered by the faculty. It included an innovative workshop designed to assist students in selecting their fields of study through outside-the-box thinking. Unlike the traditional approach that relied on lectures, this time we organized the workshop in the form of practical, hands-on activities.

The workshop provided students with the opportunity to understand our academic programs based on their practical applications in real life. Our programs include: Project Management, Finance and Banking, Marketing, Healthcare Management, and Business Administration. The workshop was held in the university’s gaming hall under the supervision of program heads and their teams, who managed and explained the activities.

What distinguishes the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at LIMU is that most of its teaching staff are young professionals who obtained their higher education from international universities. Therefore, this session was not just an educational activity but also an opportunity to transfer knowledge and skills derived from diverse intellectual schools and various regions of the world, adding a global dimension to the experience and enriching discussions between students and lecturers.

We look forward to continuing to offer distinctive events that enhance the student experience and assist them in building their academic and professional futures.
