A Global Step for the Law Program at the International University

The Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, through its Law Program, is confidently taking steps toward global engagement. In an atmosphere filled with passion and the pursuit of knowledge, the Law Program team welcomed Ms. Nour Aftita, representative of the African Federation of Law Students (FALAS).

Ms. Elaf Atweel, Supervisor of Teaching, Learning, and Student Activities, presented the university’s philosophy of teaching and learning, explaining how classrooms are transformed into interactive environments that shape the lawyers of the future. Eng. Khaled Al-Munfi also delivered a brief presentation on the integration of artificial intelligence and VR technology into teaching and learning, as well as related student activities.

What made this meeting truly exceptional was the presence of a distinguished group of top-achieving students and those passionate about legal research, who brought remarkable energy to the discussion. They did not merely attend, but actively shared their perspectives and aspirations to connect their academic studies with the international professional legal arena. The discussions, conducted in both Arabic and English, reaffirmed that our students are fully prepared to compete at both international and local legal forums.

The foundations were laid for a promising future collaboration that includes specialized workshops, conferences, and African student forums, positioning the Libyan International University and its students at the heart of the continental legal landscape.

We believe that law is not merely texts to be memorized but a skill, research, and human communication above all. We are proud of what we have achieved today and look forward to what our students will accomplish tomorrow.
