Orientation Day for First-Semester Students – Spring 2025–2026

In an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and warm welcome, the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences received its new students as part of the orientation day activities, wishing them a distinguished academic start and a journey full of success.

The orientation day began with a welcoming speech by the vice dean of the faculty, Dr. Ahmed Al-Faitouri, who greeted the students and introduced them to the faculty’s vision and mission.

This was followed by speeches from the academic program directors, who presented the available specializations and their future opportunities.

The University Registrar, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Maghrabi, also provided an overview of the academic systems and registration procedures.

The educational counselor, Ms. Ilham Daboub, offered valuable advice on adapting to university life and the support services available to students.

Mr. Jasser Al-Suweiri delivered an engaging presentation on:
Academic Communication and Interaction Skills, highlighting the foundations of university success and the key skills students need throughout their academic journey.

The day concluded with a campus tour, during which students were introduced to the university’s facilities and services, helping them integrate and feel a sense of belonging.
