An Unprecedented Experience for Business Administration Students at LIMU in Partnership with Indiana University!

As part of the Libyan International University’s ongoing efforts to provide its students with advanced educational opportunities on a global level, the COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) experience concluded on May 5th. This program brought together students from various programs in the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences with students from Indiana University in the United States, creating a unique educational experience that combined academic, practical, and competitive elements. LIMU was selected to participate in this initiative among 10 international universities, a significant achievement that reflects the university’s advanced standing in the academic field and the efforts made by its academic and administrative staff.

The course was supervised by Professor Ilaf Bourqeia and Professor Muneem Abushala, with direct support from the Director of the Business Administration Program, Professor Zuhair Abusnina. They worked to present this course in a manner that integrates theoretical and practical skills through an international competitive simulation using the latest educational tools in a virtual environment. The experience was professionally documented and covered by the Creative Marketing Team, led by Dr. Abdulrahman Boushala, which contributed to highlighting the dimensions of the experience. The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mohamed Ben Sleem, provided comprehensive logistical support that greatly impacted the success of the initiative.

The COIL experience at LIMU was not just an online interaction; it was a real competitive experience that enabled students to interact, make strategic decisions, and work within multinational teams. The winning team consisted of three students from LIMU and one student from Indiana University, whose names are as follows:

  • Mahmoud Ibrahim Al-Karghali
