Continuing the remarkable success achieved by the Master’s Program in Healthcare Management, the introductory day for the fourth batch of students in this specialized field was held on the morning of Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the Ali Khalifa Al-Zaidi Hall.
This special occasion featured inspiring welcoming speeches that highlighted the importance of this highly specialized academic direction and the urgent need for such expertise in the healthcare sector.
The opening remarks were delivered by Prof. Abdullah Al-Mansouri, Vice President of the University for Learning Affairs, followed by Mr. Ibrahim Al-Maghribi, the University Registrar, and concluded by Dr. Ahmed Al-Fitouri, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences.
Dr. Rehan Al-Obaidi presented an engaging talk about her experience as a graduate of the Healthcare Management Program, in which she outlined the program’s advantages, its unique learning approaches, and the implementation of international curricula.
The event was attended by the program team, students, and several guests.
This program was launched by the European Union within the framework of the SAHA Project, which aims to bring about a fundamental transformation in the management of the healthcare sector in Libya through the development of qualified leaders trained according to international standards.
Furthermore, this program aligns with the strategic plan of the Libyan International University to strengthen its postgraduate studies programs.
